The workshop will help EDGE project teams understand the free EDGE software, which a building designer can use to determine the optimum combination of design strategies for the best return on investment. Attendees will learn about the EDGE Standard, which requires that a green building achieve a projected minimum reduction of 20 percent in energy use, water use and embodied energy in materials. The workshop will also cover the certification process and how EDGE certification can increase your project’s greater marketability. EDGE certification is available from GBCI at a modest cost in nearly 120 countries around the globe.
